Welcome to my website, I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University (NYU), Abu Dhabi.   I have completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2020. Subsequently, I pursued postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) and later at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) under the Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship (IPDF), before joining New York University (NYU) in December 2021. My research interests primarily revolve around advanced additive manufacturing, architected materials, experimental and computational mechanics, multifunctional composite structures, and the analytical and numerical modeling of composite and smart structures. At present, I'm particularly focused on the mechanics and characterization of advanced metamaterials, as well as on the hybrid manufacturing of metallic metamaterials with a wide range of alloys, integrating advanced additive manufacturing techniques with traditional fabrication methods.
